Roller Shades: Clean Lines, Serious Light Control

Roller shades are the cleanest look in window treatments - a single panel of fabric that disappears into a tidy roll when you want the view and drops flat when you don't. Fabric and opacity choice do all the work.

From sheer solar screens to total blackout

Solar fabrics cut glare and UV while keeping the view - the answer for west-facing glass and rooms where hardwoods and furniture are fading. Light-filtering fabrics soften and privatize. Blackout rollers, often with side channels, turn a bedroom or media room genuinely dark.

Roller shades

One fabric, every light level

From sheer solar screen to full blackout, the weave decides what a roller shade does. Tighter stops heat and glare, looser keeps the view. We bring the fabrics to your window so you choose against your own light.

The motorization favorite

Rollers are the shade people motorize most: they're light, quiet, and look built-in. Set a schedule so the afternoon sun never cooks the great room, or group a whole wall of windows to one remote.

Roller shades

Clean lines, almost no stack

A roller shade disappears when you want the window back, which is why they carry modern builds with big glass. Cordless and motorized lifts keep the look uncluttered.

Questions homeowners ask about roller shades.

What's the difference between roller blinds and roller shades?
Same product family - a fabric panel on a roller tube. 'Blinds' technically have adjustable slats; rollers are shades. Whatever you call them, we custom-fit them.
Do blackout roller shades really black out a room?
The fabric itself blocks essentially all light; the edges are what leak. We minimize gaps with precise measurement, and for media rooms and nurseries we can add side channels for true darkness.
Are solar shades worth it for a west-facing room?
Usually, yes - they knock down glare and heat at the glass while keeping your view, which is exactly the problem a hard western exposure creates in a Texas summer.
